Jay Combes, a Tennessee native, grew up with humble beginnings. Raised in Arkansas in a city of 600 people, Jay always knew he was destined for more. His life changed when he moved to Knoxville in 2009. He began a career in sales, which led him to the world of real estate in 2016. Jay worked diligently and sold 250 homes on his own in the first 3 years. Unfortunately, he became so burned out that he almost quit real estate in 2019. Upon hiring a coach, it became clear that Jay needed to work ON the business instead of IN the business. Focused on agents instead of transactions, Jay realized that he was a far better coach than a real estate agent. Since then, Jay has coached over 100 people and continues to do so to this day. When he stepped away from production in 2020, Jay doubled his sales the following month and has been trending upward since. He is currently pacing to serve 400 families annually, and is on track to service 1,000 families annually by 2025. When he’s not coaching and building his business, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife Erica and two dogs, Max and Dozer. In June of 2021, Jay, Erica, and their furry kids expanded their family to include a healthy baby boy named Carson. The Combes family loves Knoxville and the surrounding area and plans to reside in East Tennessee permanently.
